THE HET created by Valera&SomeStrangePeople in 1994. The musician was one of the members of an exotic trance-dub project ESCLAVOS DEL FUTURO (he worked with this band during 1993-1994). Later on he joined a brilliant psychedelic ALIEN PAT. HOLMAN (1995-1996). Collaboration with them turned into the organizing of a magic brand in Russian electronic music- MINISTRY OF PSYCHO and Valera works now as a minister of psychedely there as well. The special mark of THE HET, taking part in the bands is its literal contents, usually creating music by means of voice, poetry, samplers, tape-machines in real time. His metaphysical sampling is easily heard in the debut ESCLAVOS DEL FUTURO’s album “THE HET” that makes that old school dance floor music sound pretty existential 10 years later. THE HET brought cultural and ideological basis , that has a wide variety of meanings and dynamic comparing the functions of text with the voice. For example in ALIEN PAT. HOLMAN Valera developed very avant-garde in those days “spoken words” technique. Especially good were such improvisations as “My God”; “Don’t SOS me!”, very popular “REPRISA” (From "Our passion’s flowers" album 1995) and “The Crystal World” (released in 1995 Purple Legion Strikes back live psychedelic music compilation). The special about all the mentioned works is their mystic and authentic message that touches upon the further worlds of the human collective unconsciousness.
