Although the first recordings can be described as dark ambient mainly, tokee constantly explores the multiple range of electronic genres. Fascinated with various currencies of electronic music and inspired by dinosaurs like Kraftwek, Depeche Mode, Skinny Puppy, Can etc, his latest efforts combine tight mechanical-sounding IDM and industrial beats, cinematic-like ambient themes, psychotic trance shockwaves, evolving into incredible melodic soundscapes both aggressive and melancholic.
