The GLB were borne in Geelong, Australia in 1993. First it was Dion Nania, Matt Nicholson, Chris Smith and Pat Lucas. At some point Chris left, a bit later Pat Ridgewell joined. Drummer Pat Lucas was replaced by Mark Stacey. "I've Ruined The Mood" (coined by Pat Lucas after he walked off stage 2 songs in to a set one night) is the album they left behind, sadly breaking up just before a very strong new record was almost finished in 1997. Now Dion is based in Melbourne and does Hi God People and Panel of Judges, Matt in London and does Function, Chris Smith in rural Australia pursuing his solo thing, Pat Ridgewell as Small World Experience.
