Los Angeles, CA & Las Vegas, NV, United States (2009 - present) The Fox and The Sound (TFaTS) is a indie/dream-pop duo made up of Nicole Burron and Kacey Cash, from Los Angeles, CA & Las Vegas, NV (respectively). Old friends with similar obscure musical tastes, Burron and Cash often talked of collaborating but the project never came to fruition (due to both Burron & Cash's large load of other projects at the time). Eventually Cash moved from Los Angeles to Las Vegas, NV and the pair soon began sending each other musical ideas and demos via e-mail. This lead to playing and rehearsing with one another through Apple's iChat software. Soon the project seemed too promising to ignore and bi-weekly trips between the two states began. TFaTS' sound can be described as intense and sensual or melodic and hypnotic, all depending upon which track is currently playing. A wide array of musical influences between Burron and Cash makes it nearly impossible to limit their music to one genre.
