The Fakirs are a four piece band from Wilmington, Delaware. They formed around 2006 from the ashes of other local area bands: She slash He, dead loretta, and Buttonpusher. Their form of experimental indie rock music ranges from atmospheric psychedelic to angular and jagged guitar-driven indie rock. With the trade off of male and female lead vocals their music delves into subjects of Hindu gods, reincarnation, pirates, and beyond...
