The Drone Accelerator is a psychedelic rock ensemble from Peru, formed in 2012 when former Gong member Michael Brown visited on a pilgrimage to Macchu Picchu. There he was connected with members of the Lima underground, including bassist Carlos Vidal Paulinich from Montibus Communitas. Their debut, self-titled album was released in 2014 on Sky Lantern Records, though they also contributed a track to a compilation released by Andesground Records.
