The Death Threats are an experimental post rock band, currently consisting of 3 members, living in belgium. They were started in December 2005 by Joel Borkin (drums) and Chris Hatton (bass and keyboards) who wrote their first song Wolverine Vs Your Mum using only keyboards and drums. Soon afterwards they were joined by Andreas Phanopoulos (guitar) and James Bravin (vocals and keyboards) and wrote several more songs until December 2006 when Bravin left. For a while they played with a guest guitarist Duncan Roxburgh for live performances of older songs however all new material is written for a three-piece. The Death Threats have no main vocalist however all members, including ex-member James Bravin contributed to the vocals in the song Dodo however only Hatton and Bravin sing during Wolverine Vs You Mum. The Death Threats perform with lively stage antics and in many songs change between instruments mid-song to embelish their performance. Currently The Death Threats are recording a 4 track EP.
