Frank Anne don't really alter the lyrics of motley crue songs in order to reflect the teachings of our lord jesus christ, but like to pretend as much for the purposes of getting chicks. They comprise two members of pre-eminent belgian techno-terror outfit The Death Threats (Joel Borkin and Andreas Phanopopopopopopopopopoulos) and one member of Betty And Her Melodica (Sarah Hope), who formed over a shared love of bill haley and white supremacy . The name arises from the fact that the first song Frank Anne ever played together was iron tusk by mastodon. halfway though, sarah and joel tired of andreas writhing around on the floor and giving his thighs carpet burns, and realised that swapping anne frank's names round sounded pretty neat. their star was born! from band's own memories: Frank Anne is very different from either of the members bands and represents a collective side project for these three musicians. Hope who plays the melodica in Betty And Her Melodica acts as lead vocalist in many songs however sometimes harmonises. Borkin who rarely sings in The Death Threats does many vocals in Frank Anne and occasionally is lead, in other songs he plays the drums. Phanopoulos plays the guitar and rarely sings however sometimes offers backing vocals to Hope and Borkin.
