This is a name for multiple bands: The Cutters (1) a Houston punk rock band founded by Geo White (The Points) including members of Davy Crockett (Jon, Organ), Talk Sick Brats (Bryan, Drums), Cop Warmth (Mark, Guitar) and Muhammadali (Jeff, Bass). Their debut album 'Luthers' was released through Dischord Records and it sticks to the basics: chicks, shit that sucks, drugs, and apathy. It's an ass-kicking debut. (2) Danish emo-rock band, consists of Søren Balsby (of the danish Carpe Diem and The Thindies) and Alex Rode, the band has so far, only recorded one song called "18" - The Cutters (3)The Cutters are rock and roll band from Humboldt County California. Guitarist Mike Wilson tosses down loud and classy reverb-drenched chords, Tad Sutera thumps out raunchy bass licks alongside Ray Johnson's well-crafted drumwork, and super-talented singer Angela Brown (the frontwoman) belts out the catchiest singalong choruses heard since early '80s British New Wave. Wilson, Sutera, Johnson and Brown have been playing around in bands in the Humboldt music scene for years. Since forming in 1999, they've toured the West Coast and opened for the likes of Dee Dee Ramone, Jonathan Richman, Long Beach Dub All-Stars, G. Love and the Special Sauce, The Minders, No Means No, and even The Beatles (no joke, ask them to tell you the story). (4) The Cutters are a punk rock/oi band hailing from Wilkes Barre/Scranton, PA.
