The Cousins were a Belgian rock band active during the sixties (1960 - 1967). They recorded mostly rock & roll and surf instrumentals, and a handful of vocal tracks. Back in the day they were known for their standard tune "Kili Watch" (their debut single from 1960), which was covered by Johnny Hallyday. They had a huge success in Argentina where they were known as Los Primos ("The Cousins" in Spanish). In the U.S. they released as The Continental Cousins. In 1961 they released the single "Kana Kapila / Buddha", the A-side being the track they are most known for these days, as it was featured on various retro compilations such as. Jungle Exotica.
