A hip hop trio with a penchant for sight gags linked to huge bushy hairstyles from the same decade (two members, Hurricane and Koot Tee, were clean shaven, while DJ Kippy-O had an extensive Afro). The group also has a good pedigree, with Hurricane being a DJ for The Beasties Boys and a rapper for Davy D. Their material is more in a mode of parody/satire than confrontation, with a couple of political-consciousness and cultural-awareness cuts added to spice the menu.
