The Affliction Imperative is a progressive melodic death metal project by Nate Scott, from Austin, TX. A guitar player of 17 years, Nate has developed a keen appreciation for the technical, brutal, yet perversely beautiful music that has come to be known as melodic death metal. The Affliction Imperative is a creative means of expressing both the beauty and darkness he faces in life, which is something he hopes everyone can appreciate and relate to in some way. Nate is the sole musician, vocalist and songwriter. He plays all instruments except the drums, which he programs with ToonTrack's Drumkit From Hell plugin for EZDrummer.
