65 were one of the first Indie/Emo/Post Punk (whatever the hell you want to call it!) bands from Virginia Beach to actually release a record and go tour. Taking huge influences from bands like Jawbreaker, Seaweed, Samiam, and The Misfits, the boys came up with a sound that you couldn't resist. After breaking up a few years back members went on the play in Johnny Utah and The Sugar Report. Below are some reviews. Please leave some love! "This band fucking rocks. I am telling you that once and for all and I kid you not. Combining the least cheesey, most rocking parts of Samiam, Saves The Day, and the Getup Kids, yet still maintaining their own unique sound, The '65 Film Show are one of the best bands I've heard in a long while. After being featured on the "Pocket Bomb" compilation, we released their 8 song CD, entitled "Breathing Will Be Assisted." It was recorded at Salad Days Studio with Brian McTernan (Hot Water Music, Thrice), and features artwork by Mark Brickey of the Enkindels.
