Bath based Post-punk band, making a Vindaloo seem like a Korma with their onstage heat. The post-punk revival is evident in the hearts of these four like minded individuals, who combine fiery riffs with explosive drumming and energetic vocals, amounting to an exhilarating live performance. They have been writing and recording a selection of honest post-punk songs, combining the haunting melodies of Joy Division with the indie stylings of The Libertines, and have developed a strong following around Bath with their regular gigging. During the fifth full moon of 1994, Dan Stothard rose from the ashes of the phoenix, pen already in hand, writing lyrics for the first Television Villain album. Being born without knees, Dan found that his ability to hold a pen was not hampered by his lack of leg hinges, and his discovery of the chair and desk combo aided this further. At the age of 17 he met Jack Buckland, a young aspiring postman who delighted himself in origami and watching live performances of Tales of the Riverbank. Taken by Dan’s wide eyed outlook on life, he followed him bass in hand, adding a groove to his bambi like footsteps. On their travels they met a young man named Jack Daffin, competent in drumming with a taste for own brand Coca-cola, and lassoed him into their band of merriment.
