Cape Town based band Like Knives was started by Skye MacInnes (ex little kings) and Micah Frank in 2009. The lineup was completed by mid 2010 and includes Henre Botha on guitar and keys, Gideon de Kock (of Yes Sir! Mister Machine and Supercancer) on bass and Amir Patel (ex The Julii) on vocals. Their sound draws influence from a variety of styles including indie, rock, hardcore, post rock and pop. Since October 2010 Like Knives have shared the stage with the likes of Wrestlerish, Isochronous, Jesse Clegg, The Plastics, We Set Sail, Dance,you'reonfire, La Vi and Enmity, to name a few.
