Tall Girl

Tall Girl is a San Francisco metallic punk duo made up of guitarist/singer Imogen Binnie and drummer/singer Crissy Snail. They formed in September, 2013 when Imogen moved to the bay area with the explicit intention of starting a band with long-time friend Crissy. Since Imogen was only going to be in the bay area for a few months, Tall Girl rushed to write songs, play shows and record a tape. They played three shows in the Mission District of San Francisco during autumn 2013 and released the One Night of Sleep tape on November 20th of that year. Before moving to San Francisco Binnie recorded the two-song Rat Princess Demo into a laptop with a drum machine in a haunted house in New Hampshire during a series of early summer thunderstorms. That recording of the song Rat Princess appeared on the Stick Shift Records compilation First Gear.
