Members: Kevin - Vocals, Guitar Anthony - Guitar M1Ke - Bass Joe - Drums Hailing from Long Island NY, Surviving Sunrise is a Modern Rock band that merges Hard Rock, Hardcore and Pop to create a sound that is both powerful and infectious. The different musical tastes and influences of the band members has become the basis for their style. They have combined hard rock riffs with lush melodies, driving drum beats with fluid bass lines and fast flowing but smooth vocals with emotional screams. Their use of various genres punctuated by catchy choruses gives them their unique sound. The emotional lyrics based on inter turmoil, struggle, and uncertainty during changing times send a message of hope, inner strength and perseverance that seems to be the underlying theme of their music. After playing years in the New York metro area’s Bars, clubs and competitions, they have developed their high energy live show. Members Kevin Mc Gee (Lead Vocals, Guitar), Anthony Lagnese (Guitar/vocals), Mike Feinstein (Bass) and Joe Iannotti (Drums) decided to take a break to produce and record their debut Album “Final Battle Cry” with Mike Watts and Rich Liegey at Vudu Studios in Freeport, NY.
