Artist
Supervisor of the Loveless Average is an indie-rock band from Atlanta Georgia featuring John McNicholas on vocals and guitar, Elizabeth Elkins on bass and Marco Corales on drums. Consisting of current and past members of Atlanta bands The Good Graces, Dutch Angle, The Swear, The Yum Yum Tree, Granville Automatic and Ghost of Summer Suns, the band formed around the idea of spontaneous song creation, with the goal of creating one new song for every practice. Songs about Cities is the dynamic result of that experiment gone right. The EPs leadoff track, "Baltimore Bound," is a Pavement-y ode to leaving your home town, while songs like "The Future of Minneapolis" and "We Can Stow Away the Sound" explore the dynamic little details of broken yet dysfunctionally perfect relationships. In contrast, "Radio Holly" is a slowly unwinding, stark look into internal isolation. User-contributed text is available under the Creative Commons By-SA License; additional terms may apply.
