http://www.superblackmarket.com Hailing from the midwest, brothers Joseph and Sonny [Remlinger], since adolescence, have been harnessing their passion for playing punk rock. As a drummer for BYO Records band Kosher, Joseph toured at a young age, and adopted a philosophy that in true punk rock, you should do it right, or go home. Trent White, the lead guitarist of Kosher, was along side Joseph during the relentless touring with such bands as Dillinger Four, Against Me!, and Lawrence Arms all over America. In the meantime, older brother Sonny, formed heavy hitting, Kansas City five-piece Dynamo. There he perfected his unique brand of punk rock, utilizing more elements of melody and harmony than in any previous venture. With Des Moines native Benn Bluml, Sonny and company released two albums with Kansas City-based Third World Records. Through circumstances that led to the demise of both Kosher and Dynamo in late 2004, the brothers [Remlinger] decided to get back to their roots. Joined by Bluml and White, Joseph and Sonny formed a rock-solid rhythm section to compliment the driving lead and rhythm guitars. In the ever-changing punk rock scene, Super Black Market has stayed true to its DIY philosophy, and taken the attitude a step further.
