Stolen Prayer formed in 2020 with one thing in mind: Pioneering a new age of mainstream Rock n’ Roll. Inspired by the over the top, party driven metal of the 1980’s, Stolen Prayer conjures up a dark and heavy, yet melodic sound. A sound that pays homage to the iconic rock bands of the past, but is updated for a new generation of fans. Stolen Prayer is a band that demands your attention, and will prove once and for all that rock n’ roll is far from dead. ‘The ’80s. Bringing back hair metal glam rock. Basically, we think the world today is missing that — missing that, you know — high energy rock n’ roll band like they’re used to be and we want to bring that back to the masses. So that’s what we are trying to do.” In terms of how Stolen Prayer begun, Knix or Shea revealed: “Yeah, we got started late summer [2020], kind of September / October area, and we kind of took that by the horns and ’cause we’re both big fans of Halloween, spooky stuff and rock n’ roll. We both really liked Ozzy Osbourne and KISS, and all these spooky bands. We started around Halloween, and said, ‘You know what, let’s… we could do something here.’ We released our first song around Halloween. It had a spooky vibe. It’s called “The Devil Inside”.
