Steve Arceri plays acoustic guitar and sings. On recordings he also plays drums, bass, keyboards, electric guitars, and percussion, and sometimes his friends play various instruments. His music has been described and compared. His lyrics tend to deal with existential and social issues. Solo since 1994, he made four cassettes in the late nineties and has made four CD's so far this century. Along the way he played in several bands, a few of which also made recordings. Arceri has performed in Texas and much of the US, and is looking forward to adventures in the Northeast and in Europe soon. He lives in Austin with his cat Alphonse.
