Steve Aldo was an R&B and soul singer from Liverpool, United Kingdom, who was very popular on the mod scene of the 1960s. His real name was Edward Alban Jean-Pierre Bedford and he was regarded as Merseybeat's own black R&B/soul guy. Released two singles: a Marvin Gaye cover ('Can I Get a Witness') on Decca in 1964 and 'Everybody Has To Cry' b/w 'You're Absolutely Right' on Parlophone in 1966. He passed away in 2017.
