Biography Classical pianist Stephen Kopp, a 2010 graduate of Mannes College of music with a Masters and Bachelor of Music Degree in Piano Performance, an Award Winner in Classical Piano received National Recognition as a talented teen artist among top 5% of Artistic talent nationwide according to National Foundation for Advancement in the Arts, ARTS Awards program 2004. Stephen is also a 2nd prize winner of the 6th biennial Pinault International Piano Competition and received an Honorable Mention Award in the Bradshaw and Buono International Piano Competition 2005. With only a few years of formal studies, Stephen began performing at age 14 and had his New York City debut at Steinway Hall on January 16 2001 at age 15. Stephen is currently enrolled as a Professional Studies Student at Mannes College of Music. He formerly studied with Blanca Uribe and Thomas Sauer, and currently studies with Mrs. Yuri Kim.
