Starfuck with its four members have existed since 1998 and their home is Ornskoldsvik in the northern part of Sweden. Starfuck have been playing all around Sweden and have become a very popular band on the major festivals in Sweden. Last summer Starfuck played on Swedens biggest festival - "Storsjoyran" which had almost 60 000 visitors last year. Starfuck have also contributed on the festivals promo CD. Last years festival contained artists such as Iggy Pop, Lambretta and VUE among others. Another festival Starfuck have been playing at is the "Smack festival". Likewise a compilation was made containing 2 Starfuck-songs. Later on Starfuck was chosen to contribute with two songs on a compilation CD released by Diesel Wing Records in the spring of 2002. In december 2002 the band were voted as the Best Unsigned Rock Band on Swedens biggest radiostation - P3. A radio channel who covers whole Sweden, which means almost 9 million listeners. Starfuck was also played at P3 on the show: "The Best of P3 Demo" in december 2003. Besides Radio some TV appearances have been made from different gigs. Starfuck are being promoted in England by Georgios Sidiropoulos, who is most known in the industry as the London correspondent for the Greek Metal Hammer, Metal Invader, and Seventh Sign magazines and as a music zine and webzine contributor.
