Star Thistle is a Winnipeg-based indie-folk singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist who is fond of hyphens. He has previously released 3 albums as Uncle Sinner, gaining a loyal international following. As Uncle Sinner, he primarily revised traditional American songs, re-writing them to speak to his experience. The Star Thistle songs are all original and less rooted in blues, showing another facet of his musical skills and writing interests.
