Welcome to the story of Spoke Too Soon, five Scottish Highlanders who have spent the last few years spreading their infectious and energetic brand of pop punk/emo/alternative rock all over the UK. Things really picked up in 2018 with the release of the “insanely stimulating joyride” Standing on the Edge and debut headline tour, hitting up some of Scotland’s most reputable small venues. A run of England shows and appearances at festivals such as Jocktoberfest, Book Yer Ane Fest and XpoNorth followed with the band continuing to grow and engage their vigorous fanbase, earning (and embracing!) a reputation as “party starters.” 2019's follow-up Your Own Creation saw the band expand on their dynamic and diverse songwriting skills, keeping listeners constantly on the edge of their seats by fearlessly pushing the boundaries of what can be considered pop punk. Lead single Transparency garnered worldwide radio play and playlist attention, while support slots with the likes of ROAM, WSTR, Hundred Reasons, Press to MECO and Authority Zero kept up the momentum. The now semi-Glasgow-based Spoke Too Soon are currently back in the “virtual studio” with long-term producer Sean Duddy of Woes.
