Intense collective improvisation, tight heavy metal, entchanting solos, crazy rhythms, rock and R&B, extreme dynamics, worldly sounds, extended instrumental techniques, intricate arrangements and compositions, are all part of their rich music. Spinifex Orchestra's debut cd Triodia was released in 2008 on Karnatic Lab Records! (information from http://www.karnaticlabrecords.com/artists.php?id=51) In 2009 the Orchestra's follow-up the Spinifex Tuba Band was founded. In 2010 they toured the Netherlands in a collaboration project with Umlaut Double Trio featuring guitarist Marc Ducret. A whole new repertoire specifically composed for these concerts was presented.
