Sorry For The Silence - The tightly woven guitar riffs, melodic key pieces, and intense screaming of We Are Both But Human sets the debut album from Sorry For The Silence apart from anything else the Maryland music scene has produced over the past few years. The young band of 6 members released their EP in early December after months of hard work and preparation--both of which are evident after listening to just one song. The first single off the new CD, "The Daughter," sets the EP off with extreme momentum-- sort of a party song for kids that are into really loud music. Being loud seems to come naturally to these boys. Vocalist Nick Nadeau shows off his impressive vocal ability in every song, along with backup vocalist/bassist Eddie Cihlar. "A Grave Robbing in Waterville" and "She Said She Was..." both display the raw instrumental talent of each of the members. Drummer Chris Muccioli never misses a beat and keeps the band on track with his harsh flow of percussion, while also performing additional vocals. While their sound may draw comparisons to bands such as Chiodos and Underoath, Sorry For The Silence seems to be aware that it takes more than just sounding like another band to make it big. Their live performance of every track adds to the group as a whole, creating a large fan base in the short amount of time since their EP release. As a whole, We Are Both But Human is a truly impressive album from a generally new, extremely talented group of artists. The
