Arlington Sleeps (formerly known as Sorry For The Silence) was an experimental post-hardcore band from Bel Air, Maryland, United States. It could be said that the band never really left--the boys branched out into different bands, continuing to do what they love, but it was always evident to their fans that something was missing. When the band first formed in 2006, it was just a small group of friends hoping to start something that could withstand all the other local bands in the area. After a few member changes and additions, Sorry For The Silence finally emerged with 6 talented members, a solid set list, and a following that was growing more and more everyday. The following summer was packed with practices and playing shows, writing music and being in the studio. After months of hard work and countless hours, the writing, recording, changing, re-recording, and stressing over vocal and keyboard lines, "We Are Both But Human" was finally complete. The EP release show turned out to be more than any of the members expected: 900 people were present on the December 9th, 2006 show and 200 albums were sold. A flurry of playing shows in different cities and states resulted, and the members of SFTS soon began to wind down. Eventually they called it quits, and each member went off into his own direction, most joining and contributing to other bands in the area. After a 5 month hiatus, the band has finally returned.
