Artist
Sometime Sunday was formed in 1993 in Portland, Oregon by Mikee Bridges. The band was one of the first artists signed to Tooth & Nail Records. The Band's lineup consisted of Mikee Bridges (vocals), Kevin Collins (guitar), Matt Zimmerman "Zip" (bass), and two drummers [Jake, who was temporarily replaced by Jean Pierre]. Mikee went on to form Tragedy Ann after Sometime Sunday broke up. His music festival, Tomfest [TOM Convention], became one of the few to survive among the many closures of the festival circuit in the β90s, and featured appearances by Damien Jurado, Pedro the Lion, Poor Old Lu, Starflyer 59, and MxPx. . Mikee and Matt Zimmerman (Zip) were also members of Twin Sister. Kevin Collins was formerly a member of Empty Tomb. Heavy Seattle sludge rock with fire-breathing guitars that swagger low with the bass, creating a swampy stench. The vocals growl and howl, rolling in the muddy melodies.
