Artist
Driver Eight was one of the first bands on Tooth & Nail Records. They only released one album called Watermelon in 1996. The style is best described as catchy up-tempo indierock with surf-influences. A perfect album for a sunny day. Although the album is released on a christian label, the lyrics don't mention anything resembling to christianity. Just clean songs about girls and cars :) After Driver Eight broke up two of the three members, Andy Blunda and Alex Parnell, joined Paloalto. Andy Blunda has also been a tour guitarist for Fastball. The bands frontman, Matt McCartie is currently writing and recording under the moniker, Theft. His stuff lives at www.myspace.com/theftspace.
