The second is Slainte in the USA. ------------------------------------------------------- SLAINTE (UK) In their quieter numbers, they conjure up sounds that delight and captivate audiences. In the instrumental sets, they have an amazing pace and energy. The tempo hots up, the harmonies get thrown in all directions, and everything is treated with fabulous musicianship and a sense of enjoyment that is totally infectious. This band creates great, entertaining performances. Slainte features seven members who between them play an extraordinary variety of instruments - harp, highland pipes, penny whistles, flute, fiddles, guitars, banjo, electric bass, mandolin, bodhran, bouzouki and a range of harmonic voices - which means a huge range of sounds Slainte has six musicians who collectively put together the unique sound that the band produces.
