Simon York is the lead vocalist/guitarist in the post-punk/cold wave influenced band Luxury Stranger. Beside writing Luxury Stranger material, Simon has written music for film and TV in the past and has decided to release a series of EPs reflecting the styles used in those compositions. There are no plans to tour this project. Simon released the 1 EP in early 2012. In September 2012, Simon started to produce work for the Other Voices EP - a soundtrack for a British animated film. This work was completely 'off the cuff' as Simon was in the middle of writing material for Luxury Stranger's third album. Simon is still writing songs and recording with the band to produce material for Luxury Stranger's third album (there is now enough material to cover the band's 3rd, 4th and 5th albums) with a view to returning to touring later in 2012 and continually in 2013.
