SMTGD was born with a first line-up during mid-2007 with the aim of combining both metal and electronic music. After recording a demo the band went through several line-up changes until late 2009 when they started working on writing songs for their first EP "Through a keyhole". Six months into the writing, the band went on recording the EP with Clément Decrock at the BossHog studio in the north of France.
