Marilyn Is Dead were a post-hardcore band from Iselin, New Jersey, United States. The band later renamed to Palisades. Their sound combines influences such as Enter Shikari, Chiodos, The Devil Wears Prada, Underoath, and more. They were a band willing to work hard and create music that people will not only love, but music that will set a new standard for others to come. Our goal is to give people something they’ve never heard before. The band started in January 2008, and played numerous shows since then. They gathered a promising local and national fan base and were willing to take the band to the next level as our career. In December 2008, they got management under DJQ Productions & Management with Jimmy Gregerson (guitarist of I See Stars, Sumerian Records), and Quenton Delaney, the owner. In March 2009, they finished recording their EP. It's called Appearance Disappear.
