Some bands start off in garages, others in basements. For Shine Under, their formation happened in the loft of a barn, surrounded by friends and donuts as they celebrated the 16th birthday of lead singer, Sean. After a few dated cover tunes and roughly crafted originals, the boys that make up Shine Under knew that music was their calling. Throughout their high school years, the founding members of Shine Under, Sean and Adam, played a number of shows and gained a steady following. As their senior year came to a close, the boys went off to separate colleges. In the months following his move, Sean began to pursue his love for music yet again in Nashville, TN. The rest of the band mates quickly followed, and Shine Under was back with even more drive and passion. Now, Shine Under has released their highly anticipated CD, “No Place Like Home,” and has opened for several rock artists, such as Our Heart’s Hero and Everyday Sunday. Nashville remains Shine Under’s home state and the band continues to play shows throughout the country and tour the world as they spread their inspiration and rock to all.
