It was early in 2009 when pop/rock aficionados Adam (vocals/guitar) and Eric Markin (drums) decided they were ready to unleash their musical talents on the public at large. The brothers had just one problem: they didn’t have a band. So, they took matters into their own hands, searching far and wide for a pair of musicians whose talents and determination could rival their own. Enter fellow Columbus, Ohio natives Tommy Parrill (bass) and Aren Carman (guitar). Since joining forces to complete a 4-track demo featuring the fan-favorite track “Sweet Victory,” the quartet has taken the Ohio music scene by storm, sharing the stage with fellow Ohio rockers City Lights and Before Their Eyes. Dear Christie will enter the studio this July with Nick Ingram (The Promise Estate, City Lights) to record an EP of all new material, in the meantime, look out for Dear Christie in a town near you.
