Born and raised in southern California, Shelby Craft is no stranger to Hollywood. Having learned to play the guitar at the tender age of 5, he quickly became known as a musical prodigy by the time he turned 14. Playing in various bands around town, he became known for his unique songwriting skills and musical style. One of his first band mates was drummer Brad Wilk, formerly of Rage Against the Machine, now AudioSlave and then later teamed up with members of Primitive Magic whose CD "Miracle" received radio airplay and produced a single that climbed the Billboard charts in Georgia. He penned and performed a song that aired on the hit WB television series, "Dawson's Creek" and produced music for several television commercials and independent feature films. With the release of his solo CD First Contact, Shelby hopes to share more of his music with the world.
