Shaé Universe is a Nigerian-born British singer and rapper, known as being a pioneer of R'n'Drill. Due to her mum being a gospel singer, Shaé started singing in her local church to support her family. Shaé names Erykah Badu, Lauryn Hill and mainly Brandy, whom she credits for forming her own sound. Shaé further explored music by writing poetry, expressing her love for words and doing song covers on Twitter and YouTube. Shaé finally released her major label debut EP Unorthodox.
