There are two Schrodinger's Cat bands (at least). Schrodinger's Cat were a Reading based indie/shoegaze band from the era of the "scene that celebrates itself". Never signed they released two self financed demos "Erwin" and "Causality". Members were Warren Jacobs, Paul Ackroyd, Kit Robinson, Simon Bell and Rob Hill. Also, a progressive rock band by the same name was active in the mid-to-late '90s. Their self-titled debut album was released in 1995, followed by "Potter's Field" in 1998. Drawing upon eclectic influences along the lines of Rush, Kansas, Marillion and Genesis, they melded the instrumental virtuosity of progressive rock with thoughtful vocals and melodies. Now defunct.
