Sarah Rose, more commonly known as DJ Scary Lady Sarah, is a proud vegan plus many other things adeptly described below. "International Music Promoter, Impresario, Mistress of Ceremonies, Career DJ, Chicago Native,and former 7-year resident of Berlin Germany; Scary Lady Sarah (aka SLS) is the founder and owner of American Gothic Productions (AGP) in Chicago, Illinois;" and one half of the DJ Team The Pirate Twins with gothic/punk music artist William Faith (Christian Death, Shadow Project, Mephisto Walz, Sex Gang Children, Wreckage, Anima Mundi, Conflict, Faith and the Muse). "She has been DJing, booking bands and producing club and concert events for over 22 years." --- AGP "She had her first DJ experience way back in 1986 as co-host of a weekly college radio program ("Night Shift"). Her career as a club DJ started shortly afterwards when she co-founded the longest running Gothic event, Nocturna, in 1988. Since then she has been a featured DJ at some of the most prestigous Goth events in the world, including: Convergence (which she was also an original committee member of); the "C7 Rescue" Saturday night event in NYC; U.K.'s Whitby Gothic Weekend festivals; the Wave Gotik Treffen festival in Leipzig, Germany; the Jungle Club in Rome; at other large-scale Goth festivals throughout England & North America and has also guest DJed gigs in over 26 states.
