Sarah Katheryn loves to explore new characters, new landscapes, new experiences with her music. Born into an artistic family, the many whims of her imagination were indulged and encouraged from an early age. Sarah began her musical training studying classical voice and violin, gradually lending her vocal chords to jazz, rock, folk, and any other form of music that moved her to sing. Sarah first started writing music as a composer for theatre, and each song she writes still maintains a close connection to a real, visual inspiration. Evocative the whimsical narrative of Regina Spektor, tempered by the dark, jazzy soulfulness of Tom Waits, Sarah brings a high energy live performance with a strong dramatic presence.
