Born in the little Republic of Moldova, Rusanda Panfili used her authenticity, passion and proud Eastern European heritage to become one of Europe’s recognisable and prominent musicians, composers and arrangers. Currently living in Austria, she has been playing the violin for 28 years but is as well a singer, multi-instrumentalist of numerous string instruments and also analog synthesisers. During her musical journey she worked alongside superstars like Hans Zimmer, Brian May, Gavin Greenaway, Gabriel Yared, Steve Vai, Guthrie Govan, Carlos Rafael Rivera, Valentina Nafornita, Tina Guo, Worakls or Igudesman & Joo. Rusanda was admitted to the “Conservatory of Music in Vienna” at the age of 11, as one of the youngest students in the history of the institution. She finished her Bachelors and Masters at the “University of Music in Vienna”, under the supervision of the prodigious teachers Alexander Arenkow, Christian Altenburger and Edward Zienkowsky. Rusanda had her solo debut with orchestra at the age of 13 and has performed numerous classical concerts with international orchestras such as the Palermo Classica Orchestra, Dresdner Staatskapelle, TeleRadio Orchestra, the RSO Vienna, Grossetto Symphony Orchestra, the Symphonic Orchestra of Mexico and OrquestraVigo 420. Rusanda performed as a soloist in prestigious festivals such as the Trans-Siberian Festival, Palermo Classica Festival, Verbier Festival, Schwäbischer Frühling and in the finest concert halls
