Solo Violinist and Songwriter Diana Yukawa is currently in the studio working on a new sound for the violin pushing the boundaries of her previous work having created an original, immersive sound best described as Electronic Classical. Diana Yukawa is an award winning solo violinist and has had 3 successful albums with Sony Music and BMG Japan. Following Diana’s debut album she was acknowledged as one of the country’s top 10 artists. Diana has lead an extraordinary life. Born in Tokyo just 3 weeks after the 1985 Japan Airlines disaster that took her father’s life, Diana has crossed cultural boundaries in her personal life and is pushing to cross even further in her professional life as a talented and much celebrated songwriter and musician. She began learning the violin at 5 years of age and through her colourful career to date has performed solo at such auspicious venues as Burj Khalifa for the 2012 New Years Concert, to 100’000 people at the Dubai World Cup 2012, St. James Piccadilly, Cadogan Hall, to 60’000 at a Khalifa Stadum in Quatar and to a sold-out Hollywood Bowl. Diana has also collaborated with the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra, English Chamber Orchestra, BBC Concert Orchestra conductors Robin Stapleton and Grant Llewellyn as well as other musicians including Jeff Beck, Paul Oakenfold, Japanese pop sensations Deen, Craig Armstrong, John Foxx and featured as a special guest for various shows in the US including a special tribute show for PBS.
