Rossco Galloway is a Scottish folk Singer/Songwriter and guitarist. Originally from Gullane, a tiny east coast village, he is now living in Skellefteå, via ten years spent learning his music trade in Edinburgh. A prolific songwriter, he has recorded and self released many albums, most of which are lost to antiquity. ' Having moved to Sweden to raise a family, he now lives with his girlfriend and young son and divides his time between work, home life, and music. You can find him playing regularly at Coasters Bar and Restaurant and Carl Viktor Café fairly regularly, both are located on the town's main street. Collaborations in the pipeline include an album with Johan Westerlund, bass player for local band Moon Safari. This promises to be a folk meets prog affair, and will certainly be very different from anything Rossco has attempted before. Further work is well underway with producer Johnny Hällgren. With over 15 Rossco guitar and vocal tracks laid down, Johnny is busy programming drum parts, bass lines and generally working up bonkers ideas to take the tunes to a new level. On this album Rossco will cover many tracks that were written by his favourite Edinburgh songwriters. Look for releases for both these albums in late spring of 2014.
