Ross Day is an 18 year old local boy from Leeds. He fits in perfectly with the singer/songwriter stereotype. Foppish hair and personality, plaid shirts and a sheer persona of awkwardness. His songs are stripped down to the core, a singer and an acoustic guitar. However there is a cold, wintery element. A bluesy harshness of romance and poetry. I have seen Ross perform at "The New Conservatory" in Leeds. His live performance emits the same demeanor as his recorded music. Harsh. Honest.
