Minnesota native Rob Loso is one of the founding members of power trio Mobile (of Minneapolis) an alternative rock band. Since 1982, Rob has been the band's primary vocalist and percussionist and has written many of the band's original songs. Able to produce music from just about anything he picks up, Rob has studio experience as a guitarist, a bass player and a drummer, (his favorite instrument). Singing and song writing were a natural incarnation of the demands placed upon. In 1999 Rob released his first solo effort called Three Sides To The Coin. This album shows maturity in the artists song writing as he manages to restrain his hard rock and metal edge in favor of folk based songs. Given a listen, one can not help but sense the powerhouse behind the music as the music comes off as neither folk nor hard rock, but, rather, something in between.
