Rita Pereira is a portuguese singer. She performs as a solo artist under the name Rita Redshoes. Rita Redshoes started as a drummer in 1996 in ITA VERO theater group. From 1997 to 2000 she was lead singer in the band Atomic Bees. In 1999, she also played the bass for Rebel Red Dog. Before releasing her album, she firstly became well-know to the general public by dueting with David Fonseca in his single Hold Still II Her debut album, entitled Golden Era, was a comercial and critical success in Portugal and spawned 4 singles: "Dream On Girl", "Hey Tom", The Beginning Song" and finally "Choose Love.
