Retrace My Life a death metal and deathcore band hailing from small village Skrīveri, Latvia. The band originally was formed in 2008 by five friends thanks to their love against metal music. Due to personal issues the original lineup was broken and the remaining members had to find replacement guitarist and bass player. The original sound was tended to be influenced by such a grands as As I Lay Dying, Killswitch Engage, I Killed The Prom Queen but later on their thirst against something more brutal became bigger and with the emerging death metal scene the sound became more intensive, blast-beating, growling and low-tuned. Their influences vary from genre to genre, from band to band - starting with modern metallers as Suicide Silence and ending with brutal death metal legends as Suffocation. The band has released demo Inside the Cells of Mine (2009) and EP Nākotnes Drupas (2010) which is available for free download. Current lineup: Renārs Brokāns - vocals Kristaps Melderis - guitar (currently in Reshape The Landscape) Mārtiņš Ķeire - guitar (ex- Helid, Suņa Cepetis); Dainis Paškēvičs - drums.
