Malduguns was a Latvian death metal band formed in 2009 in Rīga, Latvia that builds their own music on traditional old school death metal with some technical and progressive elements and lyrics in Latvian. They cites Atheist, Cynic, Death as important influences. The band's debut album Pēddzinis was released in December 2011. Malduguns split up in 2013. The final lineup: Jānis Naglis (Mindesign, Unsainted) - vocals; Artūrs Ļubļinskis (Tabestic Enteron, Mindesign) - guitars; Krišjānis Krūmiņš (Tabestic Enteron) - guitars; Ģirts Kļaviņš - bass; Lauris Polinskis (Frailty, Apēdājs) - drums.
